Period-Inspired Attire Encouraged

Whether you have been dancing for years or have never tried a traditional dance before, our caller will teach and guide the group throughout the evening.

The goal is simple: eat well, enjoy the music, meet new people, and have fun.

Come As You Are—or Dress for the Occasion

Part of the fun of The Harvest Ball is stepping into another time for the evening.

Guests are invited to wear old-fashioned, vintage, historical, or period-inspired clothing from the era of their choice.

But dressing in costume is completely optional.

A dress, jacket, slacks, or whatever makes you comfortable for an evening of dinner and dancing is perfectly welcome.

Period costumes encouraged. Never required.

No Dancing Experience Needed

Never danced an English country dance?

That is absolutely fine.

A live caller will explain the dances and guide everyone through the steps. The evening is designed so newcomers can join in alongside experienced dancers.

And before the evening comes to an end, everyone will have the opportunity to join together for the traditional Virginia Reel.

Only 36 Tickets Available

The Harvest Ball is intentionally limited to a small number of guests, creating a more intimate dinner and dancing experience inside Shiloh Manor.
